When this transplanted New Yorker learned she could make homemade bagels that were easy, just 2 ingredients, and only 3 WW smart points, I had to give it a try. And guess what? As a novice baker all I can say is: if I can make them, anyone can.
What gives them their wonderful flavor is the seasoning. You can add whatever flavors you like such as garlic or onion, but I sprinkled on Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel seasoning. And frankly, I use it on more than just bagels: it’s delish on scrambled eggs, sauteed mushrooms, and it also kicks up cottage cheese and baked potatoes. If you want a sweet bagel, sprinkle on some fresh ground cinnamon.

How I got started on this whole bagel thing was because I was making hummus and I wanted something other than crackers or celery sticks to dip. (As many of you know, I hate celery.) That said, here’s some of the hummus dips — which BTW are only 2 WW Smart Points. This is also really easy to make — 1 recipe creates 4 variations.
So, as they say on the Great British Baking Show… on your marks, get set, BAKE!
