Today, I am pleased to introduce Instant PotLuck — the new line of food storage containers and kitchen accessories created exclusively for you — the home chef and Instant Pot lover.
I created this line of products because I love to cook — it’s a way for me to relax — basically, it’s my way of blowing off steam. (Because, really, who isn’t a little stressed-out these days?) And so, Blowing Off Steam is the name of the blog and a glimpse of how I navigate my way around the kitchen and life which, at times, can look a little like Woody Allen — in nature. I also hope to build a community both online and in real life, share recipes and entertaining inspiration, create cooking challenges like the ones on TV, and bring people together for Instant PotLuck potlucks.
INSTANT POTLUCK’S ORIGIN
I’m a multi-hyphenate television writer & producer, creator, entrepreneur, and foodie. For years, I have worked with restaurants and food brands to develop custom printed packaged goods, like coffee sleeves and gelato cups, through my company, HomePlates Worldwide.
I also love to host dinner parties, Oscar parties, and bring together my friends and family, and an occasional stranger who becomes part of the fold. I was always sending guests home with leftovers, especially of the meals I made in my Instant Pot. Tired of nudging/stalking my friends to return my Pyrex or sending guests home with old Cool Whip containers (ew), I thought of an idea to combine my expertise – making custom products for the food and beverage industry with my passion for cooking and entertaining.
INSTANT POTLUCK’S PRODUCTS
So, I invented the Instant PotLuck Make It & Take It™ Containers out of necessity – the first reusable, recyclable, disposable and customizable food storage containers for the home chef. They come with removable inserts that snap into the underside of the clear lid, so you can create your own private label brand. After all, as my mother, Bernice would say: “you made it, who else’s name should be on the label?” Of course, she’s right. Proudly made in the USA, the containers use less plastic but are incredibly durable – they won’t crack or shatter like other brands.
Also part of the Instant PotLuck collection are the innovative Swedish dishcloths that are 100% biodegradable and compostable, absorb 15 times their weight and replace the need for paper towels. Plus, they’re washable, reusable, and save money while saving the environment. Just like the Instant Pot simplifies cooking, the Instant PotLuck Original Swedish Dishcloths simplify cleaning. 2 cloths = 30 rolls of paper towels!
I am also pleased to introduce several products that were previously only available to chefs and professionals in the restaurant industry:
SlatePlates is a collection of slate-inspired, reusable and washable platters; They are also great for food photographers. The Stones are gorgeous, art-inspired salt and pepper shakers; and mini Dutch ovens, made of porcelain — unlike those heavy cast iron pots no one can lift. There’s also the exclusive Instant PotHolder, a 3-in-1 accessory: it protects your hand from your hot Instant Pot insert, opens jars in a snap, and is a great trivet to set your casserole dish on.
Join me and let’s celebrate our love of making good food, good friends, in an instant.
